How about buffing the other tanks in meaningful ways instead

Im not sure about you two but all four tanks are in solid positions. But if changes needed to happen...
PLD - replace Guardian (Cover) with Intervention to promote more active and preemptive mitigation play. This will indirectly buff Paladin as they will get.to Guard for themselves more.
Would benefit from slightly stronger Atonements (10k maybe) or Confiteor granting 2x Holy Spirit stacks for 10000 dmg
WAR - replace the 10% HP shield on Bloodwhetting with -10% damage taken. PLD has 15%, DRK and GNB-tank have 20%, all with about 50% maximum uptime. In all other parts WAR is good.
GNB - ability to draw & junction teammates to ensure at least access to tank junction + giving Aurora a +10% damage dealt effect for 10s on target to cement Healer GNB as a support-hybrid similar to Sage.
This right here, 100%. I hate how the patch notes say that Guardian is PLDs "signature skill" in PVP when it is the most insanely situational skill in any Jobs kit. Replacing it with Intervention keeps the PLD flavor while giving them a skill that is infinitely more useable.
As much as I love the above suggestion for pld the most we'll get are potency buffs, at best HS will hopefully go to 16k but until then we just have to see what fresh hell awaits us in 7.0

War just needs either the hp loss for the 2 skills removed, or make bloodwhetting work on every skill, pref the first though.
PLD does next to no damage, best you can do is harass the enemy with your pillow punches.

Definitely hit like wet noodles... but then again, you need a f***ing raid to kill one.

In Frontline definitely but in CC just gotta catch him with pants down once and he falls over in two seconds if everyone collectively sneezes on him. A stun or silence (or Miracle of Nature) with no Purify and some pressure damage and they either run for the hills or die.
Focusing PLDs is a favourite pastime of mine.
