    P10s, 6 days of 4-5 hours 0 clear, thanks to PF. And they put it on 2nd floor, if you can't beat this BS fight because every run have this 1 person that is among us, you can't progress.

    Have the dev tried to play in PF and see how fun you get until you get screwed by PF every single f ing time. good on paper, total trash on PF experience. The hard part is not the mechanic, it's expecting 8 random people to do those thing perfectly or else wipe.

    This one is not even you mess up, you die. You mess up others die. Role stack, one person god knows where they went, 3 person dead. web, 3 dead. hh, everyone dead.

    Good. Fights shouldn't be made so that PF ungabungas can follow macros and clear it

    I like an earlier fight to filter people just because it means it's less likely those people will join the later floors and trap everyone in PF. You know that everyone in the later floor parties has usually pulled off the mechanics in the previous fight(s).

    I think the increased difficulty is great. It's gatekeeping noobs out of higher floors in PF. No longer can you get carried through and waste everyone else's time in the later fights.

    10S was miserable, but 11S was fun albeit considerably easier.

    Tight snapshots and precise positioning while managing dynamic spread/stack mechanics has historically been the bane of PF.

    I dunno how 12S is gonna be but when I can scarcely tell what's happening from simply watching a fight due to all the debuff mechanics flying around it's automatically intimidating.

    I went into 9S for the first time tonight as a complete Savage newbie. I had watched the guides and tried to understand the basic mechanics and remember them. I was with 4 others who had glanced at the guides but they and others in PF were mostly blind. We were only able to do one lockout and we saw Levinstrike a few times but never when everyone was alive.

    Speaking as a noob to all this, I had a blast. I'm looking forward to our next time tackling this and learning and progressing. I think using PF will have some challenges but I made it through Golbez with PF and while I joined my friends when they were avilable, I did most of those runs alone. I just threw myself into practice parties until I learned. There were plenty of parties at least on Aether that were permanently stuck on Gales 2 prog (though couldn't make it past double meteor) but then you would get other parties where everything just came together and went smooth as butter. I think some of that is just the nature of PF. I'm sure I'll get frustrated later. I certainly did on Golbez sometimes. But I intend to push through and see how far I can get.

    Except the mechanic in p9s is very punishing for those who do know what they are doing, since 2 bad teammates, and wipes are guaranteed to happen (havent tried the other ones yet, so cant judge there). And in p9s this is partialy because the mechanic is prevented in a quite confusing way.

    I know the 1-8 are obvious to most. But i still think having the orbs and players both a seperate set of 1-4 would on that have been better as it avoids the double counting icon. The suborder between those is not relevant for the mechanic after all. And by having just 1 icon per thing, it avoids the case where your mind sees the 1 icon twice (because once in the 1, and once in the 5, and makes reflex building easier).

    Other than that, most guides arent good at explaining the mechanic from an individual standpoint. Its all nice they show the total, but they dont explain how your reaction should be when you get 2 or the first marker. This could easily have been covered with a 'move between x and y'. and for anyone later they can just follow the flow naturaly from their standpoint.

    And for p9s it doesnt help that there are 2 strats which conflict (and mixing causes wipes), people dont read. Which especialy when going for a practice run amplifies the issue as now its unclear whether they simply were confused, made a simple mistake, or are using the wrong strat as reference point. And this can appear worse when people follow each other.
