One is free not to adhere to whatever social constructs surround the set of genitalia they pick at the character select screen, though?

Physically speaking, the only option missing would be, essentially, hermaphroditism. Being non-binary or not isn't a choice of sex, but of expression.

A lot of systems in FF14 are not non-binary friendly. For example, you are forced to be referred to as HE or SHE in the story. Some people prefer to be referred to as they, which is not currently an option. People who are genderfluid may wish to change their pronouns occasionally. Right now that requires paying $10 each time.
