Physically speaking, the only option missing would be, essentially, hermaphroditism. Being non-binary or not isn't a choice of sex, but of expression.

A lot of systems in FF14 are not non-binary friendly. For example, you are forced to be referred to as HE or SHE in the story. Some people prefer to be referred to as they, which is not currently an option. People who are genderfluid may wish to change their pronouns occasionally. Right now that requires paying $10 each time.

A game this old with voice acting is not going to add that option, ever. They will not go back and revoice the entire game. I agree that it should be something represented in media going forward, but don't expect it here, would cost too much money.

Or make a male character AND a female character, and should your pronoun mood change, log to the character that suits that day's pronoun mood the best? Free of charge.
