A person who is obstinately or unreasonably attached to a belief, opinion, or faction, especially one who is prejudiced against or antagonistic toward a person or people on the basis of their membership of a particular group.
Many times people will call someone a bigot simply because they dont share the same view as someone. Many times people calling others bigots are bigots themselves by definition. Also many folks using the term dont even know the definition. The REAL one, not the one used on Twitter and Reddit for example. Someone can point out not being ok with things like child mutilation (which is what that is) and be called a bigot for that for example. Per definition there's no bigotry there. Fanatical left wing AND right wingers are bigots by the very definition of the word. People don't get this

Pretty much this. It's wrong on both sides. But we're always stuck focusing on which side does worse, which is caught red handed more often over the other, and instead of addressing it at the root for both sides, we're always pointing the figure acting holier than thou. I don't care which side's beliefs. Neither should be messing with the children. Period. It's as simple as that.
Part of the problem is scale. We're told that lgbt population is a small percentage of the overall population. But we're also told they mess with children on an equal or higher level than the crazies at churches, who are the most populous religion in the world. They also undergo massive cover ups, don't have to report any incidents, and tend to be very defensive of their own, even when caught.
No one should be messing with children, but the focus is on a small percentage of the population, and it was pushed heavily when the SBC scandal started coming out. REALLY makes you wonder....
Only in America where gender can't be determined. Outside of the U.S everything is normal
Great explanationA person who is obstinately or unreasonably attached to a belief, opinion, or faction, especially one who is prejudiced against or antagonistic toward a person or people on the basis of their membership of a particular group.

Oh you're back Final Fantasy XIV forum user Kolaina. Yes, that definition of bigotry from IkaraGreydancer was great.
Your previous comments are still pretty telling. "Ideologue" has a strong negative connotation, and considering that you used it to describe someone who said they block people who express transphobia, I stand by my previous comment. It says a lot about your character.
