World firsters caught multiple times using it proves even the "hardcore" need this ability.
Us casual and midcore being held back because we dont use the hacks. Like take even just an EX fight - Mount Ordeals, it is literally INPOSSIBLE to see the arena floor and the symbols on the outside at the same time while playing on a standard resolution/aspect ratio.
Devs just need increase the distance we can zoom out and we would be back on a level playing field.

They didn't use it, Shori, its part of one of the mechanics. It literally does that to you in game, which you can tell if you paid attention to the boss size and the size of the waymarkers.
It's the game doing that, not any third party tools. Essentially, the dev team was poking fun at the drama from TOP in this fight.

The boss shrinks your party, pulls the camera back and forces you to do mechanics zoomed out, it's by design and it happens periodically throughout the fight.
