On that page a monk compared the GC weapons with Garuda's Talons changing zero stats. What he found was DPS in and of itself also plays a part in your overall WS damage. As you can see his WS went up switching to Garuda's Talons while his AAs and Shoulder Tackles went down.

In that case, base damage is now only for AA? D:! lol time to turn in my claw for seal
