This is why Blizzard was eventually forced to alter their honor system. It lead to very unhealthy playing habits when the most competitive would stay online to grind literally 24/7 so they could be #1.
It is the game's fault for having a system that allows people to compete for something, or is it the players fault for having no self-control?

This is the same agruement for people who gamble. Some people will spend their whole pay check on slots, but is it the slots fault?

I'm glad SE finally added something people had to work for and compete against eachother for. If you want to be number 1, you and your LS have to earn it. Will I ever be number 1? Hell no! Will I reap the benefits of those who are? sure will!
