Emergency Maintenance Resets Gardens (Request)

I've a specific range where I can reliably check my gardens, due to the maintenance which I didn't expect (cause it's an emergency lol) I wasn't able to check them and so they died by the time I was able to visit them again.

It would be nice if all emergency maintenance (or all maintenance in general to be honest) reset the watering for gardens...

Losing them because you couldn't do it when you were able to, which would have normally saved them, is painful. Especially when it was a few onions :/.

"Well just login after maintenance" Genius, thanks for that- I still would like the game to make it so I don't have to have my own personal emergency because the game chose to have one.

I am okay with the idea, because obviously there are good reasons why they do those things lol. That's not the issue. The issue is simply being it would be appreciated if they could stop their emergency becoming ours (or at least mine) lol.

Man that must be an emergency maintenance when it got announced 3 days before they even started the maintenance...

Lets assume you are really gardening beside crystals and void drakes. It means you had to look after your plants at least once every 24h
(or lets be generous here the 48h wilting ones) and you didnt even notice the ingame notification for the maintenance once? Oh boy.

Put them into the storage if you expect a longer absent time (it stops the wilting) or if you dont need the onions for yourself avoid them.
There are more valuable seeds to plant which doesnt need any care at all so you wont loose them.

Due to the cycle they would be out cause they're out, normally when I have more notice I wont plant something that wont be safe by the time of maintenance (like major patches). But you can't stop an onion within three days.

That said I didn't know you could pack the garden up and then put it back down lol, certainly a thing to do when I know they wont be able to cross into finished by the time I can get back to them (like this emergency patch was right when I am normally able to login, effectively blocking me for 'that day' till the next day). Also I login basically exactly every 24 hours, as that is what works for my schedule. It's not uncommon to login to purple if I'm slightly later than last time :/. It would be nice if the timer was 25 or 26 hours simply so I didn't see the purple haha.. but that functionally has never really mattered.


I still very strongly think they should water the plants during any maintenance though. As for which seeds, I do give away the onions, but if I'm looking for profit I'll take note.
