From my January thread "Simple suggestions to increase PvP interest and relevance" :

• Implement a new season-spanning "Wolf Collar 2.0" currency. If you end a season in Bronze-tier, you’d get 3 collars up to 8 collars in Crystal-tier. This would greatly incentivise players to rank up or at least try ranked PvP.

• Add glowing effects to preexisting weapons and chestpiece models. These "Flagship pvp glamour items" would only be attainable using 10 of the "Wolf Collar 2.0" currecy I just mentioned.

Although not definitive proof they listen to the forums, I'm pretty stoked they added stuff I wanted for pvp. The only difference being you need Diamond+ to acquire the tokens and the actual number of them received.

I think it's great they implemented that and in case of the second point it's almost exactly that, glowing effects to preexisting weapons. Sick!

Hard to say, we'd have to assume they take the forums seriously, (Which they shouldn't.) But more then likely any suggestion that doesn't take much effort on their part esp when they can re-use assets you can bet they're gonna throw into the game.

Yea, I mean it's a little uncanny how what we got was so similar, but maybe it's also a case of it being the natural thing to do. The hellhound weapons already look sick enough, the next logical course of action was obviously to spruce them up with glowing fx.

Although ranked still doesn't hold water for me, I do think this was a good change to help incentivize more people towards it who like the look of the Hellhound weapons and additional particle effects.

I would have preferred if the token rewards were attainable from Gold+ so as to not make it seem too daunting to non-pvp players to reach. Then again, maybe they did put the requirement as high as Diamond because you only drop 1 tier per new season.

meh, Glow looks okay but base model looks ugly.
