FFXIV windowed snap assist.

So I use to be able to multi task, and use the auto "Windows," windowed snap assist where, the OS would scale the window down into different predefined equally sized windows. Some time ago, it stopping working. I figured it was something SE was working on. But the option never came back. So I don't know if I changed a setting accidentally. It was a great feature, where i could go from full screen to 1/2 screen and everything would scale down really well and fit properly in the available space. Now it doesn't snap at all. And where I can use the snap option on other application the windowed version of FFXIV isn't an option, and so if i do snap the other application, FFXIV just minimizes down into the task bar.

Window snapping still works for me. Make sure you're in windowed mode (System Configuration -> Display Settings -> Screen Mode). Full screen mode probably won't work and borderless windowed snapping acts weird when trying to snap the window with keyboard commands. Also I'm on Windows 10 Home.

Well I was able to fix it. Reset the game settings to default. and then put settings back to where I want them. Then it happened again. In the system configuration. Under mouse settings. There is something called, "Allow resolution changes via mouse drag." Leave this box checked if you want the snap assist to work. If you turn it off you cannot snap to the predefined grid.
