Add me to the list affected as of today. Was able to log-in fine about 5 hours ago. But the last 30 minutes I've been unable to connect to the Light DS. I can connect to all other Dataservers without issues.

Hi, also Twintania here, got logged out by the automatic logout system and cannot log into the Ligth Datacenter back again, it will always give me the 2002 Error when trying to get to the Character Screen.
Have this now for around 3 hours now.
I'm also having this issue. It just happened yesterday around 5:00pm CST. I play on Leviathan. I've tried every fix listed and nothing seems to work. I'm really sad - hopefully this can be resolved.
Just had this happen to me, located on Crystal Brynhildr. Got disconnected middle of doing M3 raid, then had 2002 lobby error while reconnecting to the Data Center.
Can connect to Materia and Elemental DC with no problem, but all NA DC gives the 2002 error. Restarting the cable modem/router did not help.
Edit: so my isp is Bell Canada, and i went over to my neighbors who uses Rogers ISP and I was able to connect fine to NA DC. No issues. Went back home and and it is still giving me 2002 lobby connection error. So it seems to be ISP dependent.

This is now happening to me on my ps5. I was playing until roughly 6 AM central fine but now I can't log in to any datacenter and I'm not exactly sure how to fix a 2002 error on a ps5.
Edit: I am also on Bell and able to connect to EU just fine.

I can connect to the EU, Oceania, and Japanese datacenters just fine. But not the NA datacenters.

Hello there! I'm a fellow Bell(MTS) Canada user as well. And yes it seems like I could connect to different Data Centers other than NA Data Center where I normal plays. I can't connect since yesterday morning. I'm mainly playing on PS5 and one household was playing on PS4. Both of us have been kicked once due to being AFK and got back again with no problem. The second one is that my charater was only sitting at my house and I got kicked out of nowhere. Now both of us can't connect.
During this incident I was just claiming my first reward from FFXIV x Twitch collaboration. It might only be a coincidence that right after I claim it to my account I got the error 2002. I hope that's not the cause but it was only good 5 mins right after I claim the code made that error 2002 happened.
I could connect thru my mobile hotspot on both console. Not the same provider.
I don't use PC so some of the solutions are not applicable for me so I tried my best to the the hardware resets and reinstallation of the softwares but seems like none of those solved the problem.
I reach out to our ISP(Bell Canada) and explain the issue and it seems like they have numerous complain regarding this as well. Didn't confirm if it is coming on the same game. Though, as a suggestion they want us to contact the game provider which is the FFXIV Online regarding this issue.
Filed a ticket so let's see on Monday how will this one works.
May I know what does the customer support explains regarding this issue? It seems that a single ISP is also adding a cause for this problem.
I am another player using bell MTS that cannot access the NA data centers. I dced yesterday around noon and have been unable to access NA since. As others have stated, I can access the eu and jp data centers fine but not NA. I have also tried contacting bell, my ISP, where they told me to contact squareenix. I have tried all the fixes in this post given by a moderator to no avail and have submitted my traceroute information to square through the packet loss form. This is incredibly frustrating.
