What are your thoughts on XIV content creation?

Ffxiv requires a certain degree of commitment that mostly 'content creators' are no capable of. Majority of them just constantly break promises and expect easy content. You MUST be creative to draw content from FFXIV and have two or three talents.

Good ones

+Zepla
Used to produce unique videos, guides and parodies in the past (Kugane for example). She tried to do most of the content in-game (including Ultimates) burned herself out. Left for a while. Now she is cute...and laugh. That's all. People like her because they like her personality but....its been awhile since she produced anything new.
For some reason, she changed how she acts and talk after Asmongold, for some reason, as his own fans say, she is/was like a female version of Asmongold...just weird.

+Xenosys
Makes himself as a meme and have no shame, interesting takes on tanks and healers problems, explain mechanics without any problem. However, he is a hardcore player and will complain about stuff that is beyond his realm "Euprhosyne is easy, they should at least increase iLVL". No, they shouldn't, a hardcore raider wouldn't use ally raids to equip himself. Different niches.

+Arthars
It's just like old uncle of Xenos that plays WoW occasionally. Both has good humor tho.

+CiderSpider
Mad because small made him famous, expanded that model and created guides. A good example of charisma and creativity.

+BennQ
Animated imaginative scenarios. Many good takes. Same as EorzeanReaper (more like meme-oriented), Cheese Goblin and others. They always make me smile.

+Synodic Scribe
Interesting way to show lore and explore conceptual stuff. Unironically we lack this kind of content.

+Jeathebelle
Transparent, clear communication, decent humor.

+Cobrak
Decent voice acting with his gf, honest.

+Preach
Decent voice acting, immersive experience, humor on point, collaborative and creative FC, hosted the first Championship of Crystal Conflict, the best SHB experience.

-Asmongold
An egocentric personality that was smashed by PotD and Alex. Tried to go Stormblood, quitting in the middle with a weird excuse. No commitment at all. Mcconnel was present in one of the last lives and said bad stuff about FFXIV community, he just stands there and laugh together.
That event happened after he promised that he would play and just reacted for 5 hours and said "oh no, we have no time left", this thing happened THREE times. It's planned.
A troll, grew up children that can't understand why he made so much success. Same stuff happened in multiple occasions and games.

Forced reactions, liar, stall and worse.

-Grinding Gears
Forced reactions, stall like Rich, the type of channel that do 1 msq in 8 hours. Intentionally jumps around the npc to make you waste your time.

-GingerGaming
Forced reactions, backstab, liar.

Questionable

+-PINT
PINT does amazing video editing and creation, however, during streams...seems like he is really distracted by anything going on and don't take most of the stuff serious, breaking immersion.
I can't say how honest he is, depends of you.

Is't immersive at all, constant jokes and singing during relevant moments, add some stall.


Tldr: most of content creators just go in and expect to play the MSQ and see their viewership going up.
They stall and lie as much as they can to keep the attention going on. However, one day, such attention will leave when you finish the MSQ.
You need to be creative to do more stuff or have some talents/abilities to keep people around you.


I believe there is more bad ones than good, unfortunately.
