What are your thoughts on XIV content creation?

Arthars/Xeems are both super enjoyable to watch, and Xeems is a living meme. Xepla fell off pretty hard after she met Asmongold and started trying to copy him. WeskAlber is pretty much the only job guide maker worth watching. MisshapenChair is enjoyable and doesn't tend to lean into the whole "Clickbait Lalafell bad TOP drama" stuff. Pyro needs to chill out, stop lashing out at blatant trolls in his chat, and focus on his channel instead of falling for drama every 5 seconds. Synodic Scribe is underrated. Meoni is obnoxious but somewhat tolerable for Live Letter videos. Desperius is utterly insufferable. CiderSpider is funny as heck, but s l o w at releasing the signature video series. Pint's video editing makes everyone else here look like an amateur, Preach is likeable enough.

Oh, and the smaller creators tend to be either super boring and one-note, or the best creators you've never met.

I don't know, but to me, I never wanted to watch anyone else play this game. And the content creators we got weren't super great.


Maybe I'm the wrong audience, but I can watch Bawkbasoup play Resident Evil 3 1000 times before I would ever catch one live FFXIV stream. I'm just saying.

That is one thing I have always felt about Asmongold's WoW content after he started the whole reaction content route. Personally, his old content felt like he was a legit gamer playing the game by how he talked, then he just got lazy and vered off. I think the saddest part about him now is that he has multiple channels and people that miss the old him think his vlog channel is the 'old' him when he's obviously doing it to make extra money.
