I find Preach super boring. How was MrHappy a backstabber?

Will put you on ignore if you can't form a logical argument but argue nonetheless
Probably because he considered leaving his prog team during P8S when he realized that it wasn't going to work. Except he did come back like, half a day later and continued with them.
Internet being internet, they only remember the bad part and can't forgive temporary errors of judgement from human beings.
You mean the part where he came back after the internet was already backlashing at Mr Happy for being called out by his static? The static that fed him gear and then he decided to leave in hopes of finding a more successful group than the one he was with?Probably because he considered leaving his prog team during P8S when he realized that it wasn't going to work. Except he did come back like, half a day later and continued with them.

He wanted to leave because the static was falling apart and he first talked the matter with his raid lead who agreed with the decision. And then he didn't even do it, so why are people still acting weird about that incident?
You're only proving my point that you're just hungry for controversy and drama and have no intent of viewing the human side of things. Typical.
I don't even like the guy, as my post history can attest, but i hate double standards more. I don't think he would have been judged so harshly if he wasn't a streamer.

I don't know where I said there were any double standards. That seems to be on you acting like you aren't hungry for controversy and drama by giving him the benefit of the doubt but here you are being highly judgmental of me. Your very first sentence was really the only thing you needed to say, but now we have a hypocrite on our hands. He wanted to leave because the static was falling apart and he first talked the matter with his raid lead who agreed with the decision. And then he didn't even do it, so why are people still acting weird about that incident?

I think something to also consider is our personal expectations and standards may be unrealistically too high. You can't expect a small time just off the ground creator to have the editing free time and skills that say an established creator has. Who most likely, has an editing team hired on. It's a lot harder for them to be entertaining cause they are still trying to make a name for themselves, find their niche, and just exist at all. Especially when they are mixed in a sea of thousands of other like-minded people in the same position, they are in.
I like to watch content from individuals that talks more about general game design, or when something is willing to go into more nuanced territory with regards to balance structures, systems, etc... it's not really to learn about those things, but more to see and listen to other perspectives about them as they're often fairly well thought through pending where you go. Much more well thought through than most things I'd find on the forums, or elsewhere, for the most part. And, most of the time, some long form videos are kind of interesting when it comes to understanding others' perspectives - I do enjoy hearing what world first racers have to say about the experience, as while I'm not that interested in doing that as I don't share the mentality for it, there's a lot of stuff that goes into it I largely would only be able to infer. Plus, the videos can make for good background noise when doing something if I'm not feeling up for music or something.
Guides help catch me up to what people are doing, and give me a good idea of what strategies are popular. I do prefer the ones that play the actual fight to give me a visual, or when the commentator (usually Happy does this, I noticed) kind of just walks through the actual interactions going on and showing why things work the way they do in the fight, what the conditions are etc... since that does help me know how to fix something if something goes wrong etc.... Can't speak for how they are this tier since I joined a group to do them blind, and it's been a lot of fun doing that and maybe not something I'd have thought to do if it wasn't for some other content creators mentioning how fun an experience they've had with it (and I'll say, it's been really fun. Much more casual group, but we figured out the first large mechanic of P9S within around... 2.5? Hours? Of raid time?)
I wouldn't say I watch a ton of XIV stuff specifically, just if something sounds like it might be interesting or if I really just want background noise and Frosty has a Mogtalk up I haven't listened to (for Preach, I like the drama time stories mostly). Most of the time, on YT, it's largely just either news about hobbies I lean on, or just some long form stuff about creative processes with regards to things like writing, or music production, cinema etc...
Never really felt a temptation to click on the like... "how to level 1-50 in __" or "how to make gil fast" or "__ class guide" stuff. Mostly 'cuz I don't really care for any insight on those things, and I find that when it's just -purely- about the game and not talking in a broader sense, or about a less understood or a frequently misunderstood topic... it's not as interesting to me. Only things like that I recall checking was like... I think something about fishing a few years ago? Or uhhh... probably something crafting related and that was more to figure out what crafting website everyone talked about was since I got tired of making my own macros for dumb things.
But, largely, I think they're fine. Most are entertaining in some way, others are informative in a specific way, some are both of those things. I do think people - fans and the very vocal non-fans - are often more the section I can find pretty annoying, since they're not... interesting to engage with about anything. But there's a lotta people who're fine one way or the other, and discussions generated from content creators' videos can be pretty fun to have, insightful in some way, or just more intriguing when actually... willing to engage with an idea in good faith and not some weird, stupid, dumbass "debate comp" gotcha bs.

Cringe.
Specially when an old grow men uses his real voice to animate his catgirl/femra avatar wearing casual/+18 glams.
I mean, the man actively knew his RDM in TOP was using zoomhacks and still actively streamed as 'yeah were not cheating' until the RDM was recorded and exposed and even then he didn't want to say anything because he KNEW it was happening from the start. He wanted to leave because the static was falling apart and he first talked the matter with his raid lead who agreed with the decision. And then he didn't even do it, so why are people still acting weird about that incident?

Should have dropped the RDM on his ass if he actually stood by his beliefs in 'vanilla gameplay' and 'double standards' is the perfect way to describe mr happy.
Arthars/Xeems are both super enjoyable to watch, and Xeems is a living meme. Xepla fell off pretty hard after she met Asmongold and started trying to copy him. WeskAlber is pretty much the only job guide maker worth watching. MisshapenChair is enjoyable and doesn't tend to lean into the whole "Clickbait Lalafell bad TOP drama" stuff. Pyro needs to chill out, stop lashing out at blatant trolls in his chat, and focus on his channel instead of falling for drama every 5 seconds. Synodic Scribe is underrated. Meoni is obnoxious but somewhat tolerable for Live Letter videos. Desperius is utterly insufferable. CiderSpider is funny as heck, but s l o w at releasing the signature video series. Pint's video editing makes everyone else here look like an amateur, Preach is likeable enough.
Oh, and the smaller creators tend to be either super boring and one-note, or the best creators you've never met.
Did I miss anyone?
