What the actual hell? That's what no item level sync does to the game. And with people gearing up to 660 Ilvl, the integrity of the fight will be out of the window. I imagine, some time later, new players will be seeing Nald'Thal "scale" mechanic only in the guide videos at this point.
And, what is a hundred times worse, people will start to think that killing the boss before she tosses her 2nd "enrage" at the party is actually an intended design. Dear Lord...

Just checked, min Ilvl Endsinger player HP are (exact numbers depends on the job):

Tank: 65-68k
Healer: 40-41k
DPS: 40-45k

And the fight actually starts to be somewhat interesting. Planets takes out 90% of squishy hp, at least.
Now compare to this clown fiesta on your screenshot. What a sick and unfun joke of a design.

Btw, if the team is good enough/well geared enough, it is already possible to skip the scales at Nald'Thal. Haven't experienced it myself yet, but heard it from a few friends. It's absurd.

Yea as someone who got the EW final trial through roulette, this definitely needs to be toned down so first timers can experience how epic the finale is supposed to be.

That comment is already viable for normal content. LBs are almost exclusively for DPS, only in alliance raids its sometimes for healers. We dont need to wait until 2025 for that.

Tank lbs are only relevant in extreme/savage like content. Which most players wont even play until they are in the endgame

Maybe I worded my post a bit misleading. I was specifically talking about the final 6.0 trial, not all duties in general. I was implying when everyone is massively overgeared players would be able to skip the tank LB alltogether, making it a bigger surprise than usual when it does come up after all. Obviously it's a bit of an exaggeration considering that part of the fight is probably mandatory and would still happen with the boss being at 0.1% health.

People need to inform them of this at Fan Fest. Assuming they don't already know. Because they don't exactly keep in contact with us outside of Live Letters and stuff nowadays, and that's always one-sided anyway.

I actually hold back on DPS when I get the 6.0 last MSQ trial because of this. They need ilvl caps on some current, and most older, things in the game

Yeah, i got one of these(6.0 conclusion trial) in roulette the other day. The 2 lowest HP totals in the group were both tanks. We had a bonus, but no one said anything and one of them immediately pulled once the fence dropped so it was never confirmed if these were alts or genuine first-timers. Still, just in case i might have played a bit slow compared to normal. It was late, i was tired, impossible to say. But considering that we actually did get to hear the entire song once, i might not have been the only one. And the fight ended more or less exactly with the song. I cast my vote for a better sync on these.

reworked Ascian prime feels like a savage boss compared to Thordan now

As a tank, I'm not even sure its possible to die to thordan. I tried soaking literary everything, but still didn't get close to dying, although thordan was always a joke

they don't have to make the fights hit harder necessarily,but at least make them last enough to where you feel you were fighting something at least. I know when I did msq first time, I was super dissapointed at certain fights ending before I even got to hear the entire fight theme.

I helped a friend for their first time in Endsinger trial not long ago. The boss skips to adds phase just when she introduce the rewind mechanic for first time. Additionally on last phase, the 5th scion didn’t even get to finish their speech before she dies lol.

In Thordan trial, my favorite thing to do is to scare my (co)healer by pressing anti-kb and eat the proximity marker point blank bonus point if they get to see their own Rescue misses.
