This is a game where you can't help players improve..
because it is seen as a personal assault...and you risk getting banned.

Calling somebody bad, telling them they suck or to play a different Job/Class...is seen as aggressive and reductive. Its more of Insulting, then Helping someone improve.
Not saying you or everybody does this, but many people like to think and pretend this is being Helpful, or Giving Constructive Criticism, when its the exact opposite.
Exactly this.
Often Times its Delivery.
...But I wont pretend there arnt people who either ignore you, or simply dont want to be helped. At that point...at least you tried.
Then why do so many of never if not rarely have this issue? Either people are being asshats or they hyperbolizing (may not be a word but I'm going with it lol) what actually happens

Even when you offer it in a respective and kind manner (as you should)--> there is no garanti..
there is always that little risk regardless..

Git gud Gaius
I'm going to explain it to you the way I explained it to someone on a tales from the DF post. People aren't just some vendiagram of yes and no.
Yes, there are people that are absolutely being rude, and thus they are more likely to experience this but other reasons include the fact that a lot of the playerbase does not play alone with others. I know someone that acknowledged to me that she had never had an issue with people in roulettes while also acknowledging that she would not take part in any roulettes unless the whole party was full of her FC members. Besides those people, and the people that solely play MSQ(who may or may not use trusts), you end up with a large portion of this game who are not in a position to have these types of conflicts.
Oh and to add on to this a bit more, the more often you run roulettes solo, the more you roll the dice on running into any issues.
But at the same time, most people just don't talk in-game and so many people are scared of conflict that they don't bother to speak up for anything. So that's also another reason.
Blame the society that decided it was better to reward children for failure simply because they were worried their "feelings" would get hurt.
