Ever wonder why pf is always dead silent and no talking besides basic banter or basic yes/no?

Because if people stopped to type, they would miss a GCD. Then people like would complain that the missed GCD made the fight take 5 seconds longer.

Look, if your time is so precious that playing with people you consider inferior is unacceptable, then stop playing with randoms. Problem solved. Find 7 other people who view this game as a job and play only with them. You'll have a perfect group and never wipe again.

Ah yes, world of Warcraft, the game that died after wrath of the litch king removed anything interesting or difficult combat-wise, killed guilds by reducing raids from 40 to 25, got rid of downranking spells, simplified talent trees, said “hey remember naxx lol, you have to do the nerfed version as this expacs flagship raid”, over 10 years ago, that’s the game your trying to compare us to? Game that’s been a joke since cataclysm. Wow is just as casual focused as ff14 now, don’t kid yourself. I cleared vanilla naxx on patch and was the mind control priest, can’t yank my chain about WoW. Don’t be so dramatic.

I will agree a lot of modern gamers are far too precious, but I blame that on growing up with social media and participation trophies, and it’s not unique to 14.

I love how these takes try to blame the literal children that were growing up and in no way responsible for the situation and not the people giving out the trophies or anything.

Araxes: Stormpeaks is the kind that will tell you what you saw didnt happen because she doesnt believe it does. Her assertion that toxicity isnt rife in WOW is also an example of this. Complete handwaves because it doesnt suit her agenda.

It's time for people to start humbling themselves. If someone is offering advice, maybe they know something you don't. But if you close yourself off to advice no matter how it's presented, then obviously you don't care about working as a team, and completing the object as a team. You only care about yourself.

A good half of the "advice" I receive is utter nonsense. The other day I had a tank tell me off for "being a bad healer" in Bardam's Mettle, because they had to use Nebula. Tanks who don't know how to mitigate and blame the healers for their mistakes are very common.

Advice is not toxic, but being a dick is. People who are defending being a dick and calling it "advice" are just outing themselves as jerks.
