"waaahhhh y...you... y..you are a jerk! baka!!"A good half of the "advice" I receive is utter nonsense. The other day I had a tank tell me off for "being a bad healer" in Bardam's Mettle, because they had to use Nebula. Tanks who don't know how to mitigate and blame the healers for their mistakes are very common.
Advice is not toxic, but being a dick is. People who are defending being a dick and calling it "advice" are just outing themselves as jerks.
I laughed at that but so true. Had a dancer last night not use technical or standard step or even dance partner. Checked party list and you guessed it :P
Every time they out themselves at the beginning by writing “Bonjour” I swear a little tear rolls down my face

The real question is: Why are so many Players in FFXIV such massive ragemachines these days?
When i started this Game shortly before HW, people were super friendly and helpful of their own. People were patient and would explain stuff.
These Days my wife gets shredded when she Tanks a new dungeon simply for being new and not miraculously knowing everything the instant she sets foot in the dungeon.
Players demand everything available to be accessible to everybody and if its not, they use third party tools to get it.
I often wish FFXIV would not have blown up as it did, maybe it would still be the World i fell in love with.

There are some people who treat a game like a job, or worse, if we were to use DWA as an example of the higher end idiocy, setting themselves up as "superior players" who can look down on the 'lesser" people. I also recall a guild back in WOW that basically considered their members employees....which is and was beyond pathetic. The real question is: Why are so many Players in FFXIV such massive ragemachines these days.
Id put it down to personal failings, really.

It's evolution, and it's for the better, you cant keep on telling people they are doing an amazing job if.. they arent, because then they'll never improve. A part of the fun in FFXIV is improving and getting better at the game.I often wish FFXIV would not have blown up as it did, maybe it would still be the World i fell in love with.

Araxes: Stormpeaks is the kind that will tell you what you saw didnt happen because she doesnt believe it does. Her assertion that toxicity isnt rife in WOW is also an example of this. Complete handwaves because it doesnt suit her agenda.
Her continued whining over parsers is also part of this mindset - you can place a dozen examples of what a parser culture looks like, but as she herself doesnt see it on her server, again it doesnt exist.
