The patch Keeper's Hymn was added, the patch notes had it in read that it would be useable in the future + dev posts told us what it was for before that patch was released.I find it funny that everyone is NPC'n them when if you remember when Jobs first came out people were NPC'n Keepers Hymn's because they didn't know what they were for. I'll keep my coin, worst off I'm chewing up one inv slot, gonna rofl when coin is for something big in 1.23/2.0
Wouldn't mind some info from the Devs on the coin too. If they do say something i'll be looking for codewords like "plans" and "at this time". If so, i'll likely hang onto it. Just not sure the Devs here seem more undecided on the very items they have/release which makes me even more uncertain when it comes to the items i get.
Never had alot of beastmen coins since i haven't even been playing that long, but sure wish i had held onto what i did have![]()
Going to keep it because caravan gives plenty of seals, it may be useless some day but it will be unique anyway
a memento
I guess I am just good at common sense lol.
And... 25k seals in a day?! How do you not go mad after so many caravans in such a short time!
Good beginning lore for upcoming Gold Saucer
Or it could turn out to be just like:
Kiss of the Morning Meadow
If anyone remembers those. They were Unique / Untradeable and given as part of the Quest line just before Grand Companies were launched. No one knew what to do with them and in the end, they were just a "throwaway" (just use it).

It'd be great if we got a Developer Response for clarity on this.![]()
I'll be keeping it, it's not like I NEED one of the new weapons.
And, I would prefer if the devs didn't say anything - let's keep it a mystery for a while.
Damn I thought you guys meant like a real coin that se would sell (like what america does for like the gold coins and all of that limited time and only so many of them made bs) ... hell i'd be all up in that Have Cid's head on one side a chocobo on the other... and then you get a pretty ingame item for buying the coin
I have a secret to tell. From my electrical well. It's a simple message and I'm leaving out the whistles and bells. So the room must listen to me Filibuster vigilantly. My name is blue canary one note* spelled l-i-t-e. My story's infinite Like the Longines Symphonette it doesn't rest- TMBG Birdhouse in your Soul
A huge THANK YOU!!!! For FINALLY selling the Meteor Survivor Polo on the store. AND a huge thanks to my friend who bought it for me while he was at Fan Fest!!! YES I finally have my POLO!!!
750~1k seals in ~12mins is 5~6hrs, usually takes me 2 days but can be done in one, besides if you're doing this as say an LS event just have 2~3 people go to the end and craft while the others finish the run and switch off now and then

This is kind of backward but related to at least U.S. Navy tradition. i would keep it personally, like my military script from FFXI. though i might see if i could trade it to a NPC Chief or any NCO or enlisted NPC who salutes you.
Tradition is that all new officers are given or must acquire a silver dollar. You give the silver dollar to the first person who salutes you after receiving your commission. My ROTC MCPO had quite a collection of them, being as he was CMC for our NTC.
