Even if it doesn't go up, it won't go down. So what's the harm in waiting for 2.0 just to see? It's all speculation, but again, what's the harm?

There is no harm per se. But there is also the possibility that you will never be able to trade it in for 25k seals or anything for that matter, ever again. What's to say that qiqirn doesn't get obliterated when Dalamud hits? *shrug*
