I figure its worth voicing our opinions that this new version of shatter is absolutely horrible, and its worth a try even if we're shouting into the void to steer them towards making better maps in the future.
and yes that map above would make it more interesting to play. Certainly would have a lot more PvP going on.

Horrible redesign to be honest I have been in alliances who ended with 1/0 or mostly 0 kills or deaths because everyone just sit in the respawn destroying small ices letting the rest of the alliances fight on the north.
Borderland ruins was a TORTURE to play because 70% of the time was just circle around in mounts and risking to go top and then get insta killed by a monk/mch camping. But in Shatter its just 99% killing ices 1 % touching an afk.

New Shatter is really, really bad.
They have silently acquiesced to player demands regarding bad changes in the past, like returning Summoners their regen heals for their Egis. They later re-added Dismantle to Machinist. Nothing's completely out of the question, so that means we shouldn't atleast let them know just how bad we feel this new map is.
Like the new layout; hate the spawn rate of ice. Lower max points and scale ice back.
Glad the JP side is ripping into them as well, we just want maps that are fun to play on. As flawed as Onsal, and Seal Rock are there is still fun to be had on them. I miss playing base games on the old shatter. Killing monks attacking base in 2v1's, Taking other teams undefended bases, flicking people off ledges as you take contested crystals on bridges. There was always a way individuals could run off on their own and still contribute to the team as a whole.
I'm fine with the new map layout..
the issue is the respawned nodes.

I played it the other day for the first time, and they really did fix a lot of issues people were complaining about. As for me not having MNK bridge trolls baiting my team's noobs was great. There was a decent amount of pvp just none of the big standoff in the middle where one team willingly sandwiches themselves. That I do not miss.
