    People have already gone on at length about how the "necessary and unavoidable" part feels extremely dubious when considering the fundamental fact that the third sacrifice was not some critical event that would've led to mankind's immediate downfall if it wasn't prevented, but this isn't really the place to be repeating that argument again.
