Camera Height Difference with Hotbars

As the title states, and goodness i hope I'm in the right thread for this, when I'm using the cross hot bar on PC the camera positions above my character, as I am a lalafell, and completely hides me, making it hard to see where in relations i am to everything. However, when I put it back to the normal mouse and keyboard hot bars, the camera rights itself behind my character like it should be. Why does it do that? I play with the cross hot bar because controller is easier, but it's hard to see myself and actively perform my role correctly when I'm dying because I can't see myself.

There are two settings here you need to look at.

First, in /hudlayout, move the Cross Hotbar element somewhere more convenient.

Second, in /keybind, Movement, look at what your Tilt Camera Up and Tilt Camera Down buttons are set to. Press one of those until your camera is where you want it, then either unbind those buttons or set them to something super deliberate like Ctrl+Alt+Shift+End so you don't move it unintentionally later.

Ah, i appreciate the help, but unfortunately, i have tried moving the cross hotbar around and it feels weird to have it anywhere but the bottom of the screen. The movement keys you mentioned for the camera only pan it up and down as if i were looking around with the thumb stick on my controller. I wish i could attach pictures from my hard drive and show you. I'll try to explain the best i can though. With the normal PC hotbars, the camera is located directedly behind my lalafell as its fixed point. I can see my feet and the ground just fine. When i swap over to cross hotbar though, the camera's fixed point gets pushed up and over my lala's head subsequently hiding them behind the cross hotbar. Does that make some semblance of sense?

Nevermind, it turns out i was very dumb! I misread what you had actually said, as well as my key binds. Tilting the camera fixed my issues! Thank you so much!
