These things are fun as hell...
As shown below, they have a new condition - Good Omen!
After doing 1 trial syn, I bravely jump into the most expensive Uncharted Course Resin...
Did 4 attempts so far, and 1/4 failed.
We are once again kneeling at the mercy of some RNG, especially with Rapid Syn.
We no longer have Centered for these recipes. So we can't even bait with Careful Obs for Centered before we press Rapid Syn. It is therefore critical to execute Rapid Syn under WN or WN II or when Sturdy condition is active. This minimize damage when Rapid fails.
Muscle Mem opener is recommended, pop Vene asap, and set up WN if Primed condition pops up. If Pliant pops, can set up Manip or WN II. If Malleable pops AFTER Vene is active during Muscle Mem opener, I'd even go as far as to use Heart & Soul to utilize an Intensive Syn there. This helps to secure that precious TRIPLE MusMem/Vene/Malleable buff for progress. Using Heart & Soul like this is totally worth it!
Despite the problems with progress, we can now plan out how to utilize the upcoming Good with the Good Omen condition. This is critical for success (especially for quality-building after IQ10), as you can now activate GS (or Innov if CP is an issue) when you know a Good is coming. In fact, this pairs up perfectly with our new Splendorous Tools, since they have that bonus quality gain from Good conditions, as shown below.
When a Good (or Good Omen) pops up, we can now capitalize the quality gain even further with the help of these tools. In case anyone here needs help with acquiring those Splendorous Tools, feel free to refer to my latest guide: http://ffxivrealm.com/guides/splendo...e-tsukino.225/
So at this point, all I can say is, we are still at the mercy of RNG, but we do have some powerful "tools" up our sleeves, and if we can utilize them properly, we can make magic happen.
