For a long time I've noticed that skirts don't sit evenly on my female Roegadyn – the hem is tilted rather than straight in a resting position – and I wonder if this is coming from the same base issue.

Yes, skirts and dresses sit slightly too high on female roegadyn. Its a bit above the hip.

I hear you friend, you're preaching to the choir! Over the years I've noticed that we female Roegadyns suffer from what I've dubbed the "skinny-leg syndrome" where it seems like the gear pieces for legs were modeled on a female Midlander then copy+pasted on us. A real easy one you can test this out with is the Heavensward Dark Knight artifact legs (Chaos Flanchard). It's like we magically have skinny Elezen legs while wearing them, retaining a muscular physique everywhere else. I've hung onto the precious few leg pieces that adhere to our body type accurately but trust me when I say - they aren't many!
