    FFXIV PS5 Launcher Issue

    My partner plays on PS5 and is having trouble playing FFXIV today (everything worked fine at 6.4 launch), the PS5 isn't going past the launcher, which isn't loading - he doesn't get any error popups or anything.

    We've tried googling a bunch but can't see anyone with this issue since 2021 (when the issue was caused by server equipment) - we would welcome any suggestions! He hasn't tried reinstalling yet as this will take several hours (but will be a last resort in case it is necessary).

    Just to clarify a bit more on the situation, are the cookies and cache cleared from the PlayStation 5? (Settings > System > Web Browser) Are Final Fantasy XIV and the PlayStation 5 fully updated? Have you attempted to power cycle the router(s)/modem(s)? (Unplugging the device and leaving it idle for 10-15 minutes) Are there any others on the network when playing Final Fantasy XIV?
