    The Axolotl is a part of the MSQ Elpis, and the Raid is based on Elpis, it makes sense you also get it from Elpis related content, and that is why it is the Reward for Savage Pandæmonium 12, it is easier obtainable than many other mounts whenever it get to it as well.

    It is implied as far as i know that Lahabrea created the Axolot.

    Also the name axolotl is derived from the god xolotl. God of the, you probably guessed it, underworld.

    Also brother of Quetzalcoatl which, you guessed it probably too, the last boss in Academia Anyder. Which mentions Lahabrea.
