Reproduction steps:
1. Finish the quest "Guided by the Past" (Last quest of Pandaemonium raid)
2. Talk to Cladien (Labyrinthos ( 8.6 , 27.5 ) Z: 1.9)
3. When prompted "What will you ask?", choose "What do you know of Athena and her connection to auracite?"
4. Click through the dialogue seven times, and Claudien will say

Claudien: Records of your previous encounter with Lahabrea imply that the Heart was, for a time, in the hands of the Allagan Empire. Doubtless it was the Ascian himself who gifted it to them, thus sewing the seeds of calamity.

Issue: If I'm not mistaken, "sewing" should be spelled "sowing".

Sewing is the correct tense. As sowing is present tense. He's talking about how said auracite was probably used to help cause calamities.

I thought "sewing" means to stitch things together. "Sowing" means to plant something (seeds) on the earth.
