Normal Raid 6.4

The normal raids in 6.4 are very hard why am I dodging aoe mechanics right behind aoe mechanics behind yet other aoe mechanics, is the normal raid maybe mislabeled and is really hard or extreme. These raids are too hard imho and good luck if you are a caster. This is of course just my opinion as everyone has different skills , might be able to dodge better if the camera could zoom out a bit more however Square thinks its working as intended to guess where the last aoe will hit if you cant rotate your camera fast enough.

One-shotted everything first time with randoms. Don't make the easy "normal" tier raids even easier ~_~

because it is an endgame combat activity that the game did not prepare you for.

If anything it was about the right level of difficulty for normal.

I sware the casual playerbase will never be happy playing the game when all they want is to zone in, get rewards and a cutscene and then afk in limsa.

The fact normal raids and trials push players a tiny bit? is a good sign that fight mechanics are made not boring. It's exciting, learning and progging. Going into said content? you should know what you're signing up for even if its just normal difficulty. You can always wait for some Guide maker ( snickers ) for normal content XD

If you can't see the boss's cast bar: Go into HUD Layout and change the Target Info widget.

If you can't see what the boss is doing during a cast bar: Character Configuration > Control Settings > Character > Battle Effects: Turn them down to Limited.

The first part of the fight is intended to teach you what the tells and casts do. The later parts of the fight combine those basic attacks in "interesting" ways. This is the usual structure of all boss fights in Endwalker. (And maybe even Shadowbrings.)

And because this is normal mode content, just break a cast and move if you need to. It's not worth dying.

It was nice to see normal raids actually have some meat to them after for so very long, it should be about fun and the thrill of combat.

Now if only Endsinger had the same bite to it, shame.
