I’m unable to set my PSPlus destination in game.

I get a message saying “Unable to register free destination.You are not subscribed to Playstation Plus.”

I checked and I am currently registered to PlayStation Plus, and my subscription is current. I see the Plus symbol is next to my PSN name. I’m not sure
