Axolotl mount locked behind savage tier completion?

Heard rumors that the new axolotl mount is the reward for completing P12S. Is that true?

if so, as a non raider these news really bum me out

this is the first time sqex has locked a desirable mount behind high end content only accessible to 10% of the playerbase

it's not that I can't do savage, I could if I had the time, the problem is the time investment required to fully complete a tier.

it's bad enough that these news are souring my opinion on an otherwise pretty good patch so far.

That would be frustrating for sure. Such a cute mount! I'm good with the more edgy, 'badass' looking mounts being behind Savage stuff but something so cute?? UNACCEPTABLE!
