So we get what; 30 points of achievements for having ALL relics? I got 30 points for getting all the seasonal event items (eggs).

You have all the time to do relicts, seasonal events can only be doing once in a short time.

Also technically you get /100/ points if you get all the relics. Remember that you get 10 (ten) shiny additions to your e-peen number that has no relevance on gameplay whatsoever for each relic you complete!

That's seven, times ten, is seventy! Plus thirty is one hundred! A whole hundred achievement points!

Math is important, kids!

We all play our games for our own reasons. To say that something in-game is pointless is just asinine. I received the same treatment when I opened a light-hearted thread about this very same subject.

I could just as well tell you that leveling BLM is pointless because I don't care about BLM. Just because you don't care about an aspect that IS IN THE GAME doesn't mean other people don't care about it.

They are already spending company resources to make this achievement point system, they might as well do it right. Getting a relic shouldn't be the same points as doing an 8 minute chocobo run or leveling your MRD to level 20.
