The drop rate for the item is pretty bad. I went 2/24+ on seeing the item drop at Iron Lake. Both drops were from the Peiste mobs and not the other final mob variation. And it is also unfortunate when you have people that refuse to join the party and take the last set of mobs so you cannot see if it drops.

If you complete the appropriate steps in the “A Relic Reborn” quest and complete the behest, an NPC will reward you with an Allagan Band. (Guaranteed reward that is only for players in accordance with the quest requirements)
