yeah no, those numbers are literally impossible to even fit properly in this game, but it is at around 1.5 mil as you said, nowhere near 20 mil, that is some gigantic copium lmao
The 'Active Players' look just as bloated as the 'Twitch Stream Viewers'.. This data is just, the character (not person) did a thing, within that 30 day period? Does it count Free Trial?
Twitch has usually about 3-6k viewers
Steam is about 20-30k players (Maybe x6(?) if you combine all systems/consoles)
Counting me as an 'Active Player' because I logged in to do 1 roulette, refresh my house then check retainers. lol
Show me your FC player list and last login, I dare you.

Yeah, I wanna know the source of these stats and the context around them. 107k players in the past hour seems about right. Historically that extrapolates to about a million subscribers which is a completely believable number. But 20m active players if separate accounts would be completely insane. WoW peaks in wotlk at 10 or 12m subscribers and as best as I know this game has never come remotely close to that. Or any other MMO for that matter actually. Barring weird accounting with Lineage 1 anyway.

				Correct.
The game has (at any given time) around 100k players active.
The '20 million active subs' isnt representative of people actually playing the game.

				That word.copium
It does not mean, what you think it means......

Most people I know are very unhappy about the actual state of the game, about the lack of content, about the longer patch cycles, and so on...
Nobody of them writes in these forums. Most people who are unhappy just leave silently without saying anything here.
And I guess that lots of people here just really care about the game, instead of leaving silently.
(Of course there are also trolls here)

				Light side...Dark side...
Both are boring.
Grey Jedi is where the action is act. You need some Ying to your Yang.
Being a positive person is good...but having valid complaints IS NOT BAD. You can't mute both groups.
When you deal with human beings, never count on logic or consistency.
Fluid like water. Smooth like silk. Pepperoni like pizza.

I love these posts that say people who offer their opinion (because they like the game) are "Negative Nancys" or "negative, angry, or bitter", people like you are why nothing improves. I agree with others, the difficulty level of new and existing content has been lowered, the game has stagnated, many of the job changes in EW aren't that good, I've only re-subbed recently to try out new alliance raid, unfortunately it wasn't that great, like the first one of this expansion, so back to WoW DF. MMOs go through phases, where they're good for awhile, then bad, unfortunately EW seems to be in its bad phase, while WoW has climbed out of its. Most people playing the game don't use the official forums. They use Discord, Reddit, or Twitter.
Less than 1% of players use the forums, and of that, even less still are the ones who use the forums regularly.
The negative Nancys on the forums are a Tiny, Loud minority. They are here just to complain and don't reflect the 20 million players who still enjoy the game.

You misspelled Jamaican coffeeSurely you would know what copium is considering how much you use itOr any kind of coffee for that matter. Theres a reason we called it the elixir of life.
Look Stormpeaks, Ill be blunt, Id prefer to be me as I am, than to ever be anything like you. I see the good in things, you apparently dont, Ill take who and what I am any day of the week, rather be as jaded , cynical and negative as you.
What you call "copium", I consider to be a far more balanced, healthy outlook. You could do worse than think on that as an alternative.
