To be fair, if I seem more calm lately - It's probably XI digging into me. I think it's been giving me the other side of the big world Final Fantasy MMO experience I've really been craving. lol

XI is a pretty rough start, but only played a week and I got WAR 50, WHM 50, THF 50, BLU 50. I think if some people are frustrated with Endwalker, they should give it a shot.

You are doing what I keep advocating for......playing something else you enjoy, if you arnt enjoying FFXIV right now. To take a Break.

Seems like a stark contrast of those inside the game. Everyone's so nice and positive, and the story generally seems to be well liked by the players.

Then I come here and it seems like every topic on the front page is just negative, angry, or bitter.

What's the deal?

Majority of the forums are trolls. The rest of us are the extreme minority that post on forums. I rarely know anyone in game in any mmo that actually uses the official forums. Most people go to reddit.

We are screaming into the endless void in hopes SE will hear our criticisms because we care about the game and wish it to be better, but when all you hear is silence, zero acknowledgement and bliss ignorance to real issues at hand that disheartens people's passion, you will see people be negative, angry and bitter.

So having issues with the game automatically means I'm angry and bitter and negative? My man, you don't even know what you're talking about lol. People really should stop white knighting this game, it's not perfect by any means, and criticism is a good thing for the better for everyone, whether you like it or not.

Also, having negative connotations towards some aspects of the game doesn't mean I'm not enjoying the game. If that were the case, I wouldn't be posting here, voicing my concerns and having a conversation with other people to hear their opinions or points of view.

When you remember that 6.2 dropped over nine months ago with barely anything of value, and we're being blamed for not taking enough breaks...bad omen!
