I need advice on how to track those samurais in FLs, especially before they can all be marked, but even in general.

Well in the first minute of the match you can be certain that no SAM has an LB ready, so you can take that time to be cognizant and help your team (the usually only 1 other guy) with marking SAMs and DRKs to make it easier for everyone else who cant be bothered to improve.

You can then speak in alliance chat to let everyone know that all the SAM and DRK have been marked, and instruct them to watch their AoE when those marked targets are in the fight. If you dont do this part, your team will most likely attack all the marked targets anyway and get themselves killed (and probably come here to complain about it).

You truly have to treat/expect your team to be totally clueless and guide them in as many ways (and in the most clear and easily understandable ways) as possible. Sometimes you will get a batch of players that know left from right but I would certainly not expect this to be the norm if you are looking to improve your win rate in 2023 patch 6.4.

There are a few ways but personally, when I see the marked SAM enter the fray I hard swap to single target damage on the samurai to preasure them into using chiten. Once I see the chiten I immediately swap to crowd control (stun/silence/root) if I have any on the job I am playing, or just stop attacking for 5 seconds until I see the chiten buff drop off. Then I go back to AoE as normal.

Sounds like a lot of work, but it really isn't. All of this happens in about 5-7 seconds. And while I'm not attacking, I can even get off a free elixir drink so Im really not losing any downtime at all.

When there are multi SAM in the fray, the same thing applies. I'll just swap to single target nukes and CC as long as they are around. If I am certain the dont have chiten (they just used it, now its on cooldown) I will even still use AOE while they are around as well. They're most likely unskilled players looking for an easy 1 shot kill. So they will most likely be dead faster than their chiten cooldown can reset. So I have no fear AoEing them at all once I'm certain they have already popped it.

This one is a real shocker, but they have a name above their heads, it says "Samurai." When you click the "Samurai" you can see if they have "Chiten" up as a buff, and then NOT ATTACK THEM. Or you can keep track of which samurais have used their LB's since there usually aren't that many in a front lines anyway (15 if you're lucky, including ones on your team.) Or stay away from your clustered allies so you don't die from accidental Samurai AOE, or back out of range of them so they can't hit you with it?

Anyone getting hit by Chiten + LB deserves the KO. Theres literally no excuse, not in FL, not in RW, not in CC. Lets not forget that it doesn't even OHKO people with shields up, and they have to cast it within 2 seconds of someone *getting* chiten. I've never had problems dying to Samurai and losing BH as ranged,melee, or as a healer. Its time people leave samurai alone.
