    I'm not opposed to it, but it wouldn't fix the main issue with Seraph. I've played matches where the excog effect hits too late and people die, that delay as she spawns in to heal is still there, she also will still ghost if you use the follow-up button near the end of her timer.

    I guess it's a good thing that she doesn't spawn from the fairy itself? That would solve some ghosting. But I think planning around not needing Dissipation/Fey Blessing when you use Seraph is more engaging.

    I would rather just demote Seraph to glamour state and just have Rouse to power up my Carbuncle's healing.

    Thinking about a healer mechanic were you have an oGCD damage attack that can be used frequently (20-40 recast time), and when used it allows either your standard single target or AOE heal spell to be cast instantly. And if you do choose to use your now instant heal GCD, it will reduce the cooldown of the attack that procced it.

    That much concern, I don't disagree. I'm mainly trying to think up ways to keep the Demi-Seraph while also reducing the disasterrific delay they introduce because IMHO it's super unlikely SE would remove the entire summon and replace it with Rouse despite its better functions. To their eyes, it's like "omg we lost some pretty big 'ultimate' summon!!".

    It would be nice if she would finish whatever her last command is even after the timer's up before leaving the battlefield.

    I honestly think they could fix it (and SMN) by introducing a new ability that aspects your summon, doesn't have to remove them from the field, just a twinkle and they change to the other model. Like 'Aspect: Eos', 'Aspect: Selene', 'Aspect: Seraph', then you just give SCH 2 stacks of Rouse and give SMN Enkindle, Rouse will make the fairy do their signature thing, maybe Eos (Fey Blessing), Selene (some new shield ability) and Seraph (Consolation).

    Then they can do the same thing for SMN with 'Aspect: Ruby', 'Aspect: Topaz' and 'Aspect: Emerald', the Carbuncle just changes colours and you can Enkindle it for Ifrit's, Titan's and Garuda's ultimates.

    This. Tanks used to stance dance... heck even healers to some extent (Cleric Stance). As we speak, some abilities already share a slot depending on the player's state. Why can't this be done with pets. Also for SMN, let Carbuncle attack. Have 1 or 2 abilities we can weave plus auto-attacks to it.

    I feel like this would certainly be possible, and I'd prefer it to how Seraph is currently summoned. Being able to swap faeries on the fly like that would be nice, and could potentially even make use of the fae gauge because god knows it needs it. It would also incidentally fix the small-yet-annoying issue of your faerie forgetting it's placed position after Seraph expires.

    Stone Vigil

    I’ve had two runs of stone vigil where I have had a wipe recently. The first time was my fault because I played like I would at max level, I used a ruin when the tank was somewhat healthy, only to watch him drop before my next adlo finished casting. The second was the tank accidentally dropping stance, causing a DPS to die. In both of these cases, a single ress led to OOMing. The problem here is that stone vigil makes you spam Adlo (which costs 1k MP), while MP regen and healing resources are tied to aetherflow, which unlocks right after stone vigil. At higher levels you barely use heals that cost MP.

    Autumn Vale

    This didn’t lead to a wipe, but it was just bizarre that WHM didn’t have medica 2 for this dungeon.

    While I would like all healing to be reworked, if it’s supposed to be this way, then I think at lower levels healers shouldn’t have to rely on heals that are harder to use (cast times, MP costs). It would be a good idea to introduce important job mechanics early on (like aetherflow or lilies with maybe just 1-2 stack per minute at low levels).
    The opposite can also be said on SCH at lower level dungeons where Carbuncle can solo heal the entire dungeon.

    Not that it matters in the grand scheme of the balance but I actually find low level SGE hilariously bad

    Your healing options are basically kardia and diagnosis, you have no spammable DOT to proc kardia and you also can’t instacast diagnosis because you don’t have eukrasia

    So you either kinda stop start slide cast hoping you don’t interrupt yourself trying to proc kardia or you try to run ahead of the tank, plant yourself then use either dosis or diagnosis

    Then you get to 26 and try to cast phlegma while running and have it cancel 10295910396 times because of the games crappy NetCode and suddenly the tank is dead
