Zenos legit could have his proper death in Stormblood.
Meteion concept was good, but her presentation and development were terrible, specially for a 10 years arc final antagonist.

He's the antithesis for the player character.

Basically the player character is Rising of the shield hero and Zenos is Redo of Healer.

Kind of got ruined when coming out of the Dead Ends you're greeted by the most obnoxious villain and forced to let him help you and get forced into a 1v1 fight with him.

The final boss of Endwalker is literally a 1v1 fight with him???

I kind of expect Zeno's to beat the crap out of Meteon(Endsinger) because he gave me the impression to be emotionless in the pursuit of his own gaol. Hence makes him impervious against the power of dynamis.

I'm fine with Zeno's plot in Endwalker. I'm just disappointed that Zeno's part during the Endsinger fight only servers as a mount for WoL. He could be so much more.

Forced to let him help you...or else we lose. You're complaining quite LITERALLY for nothing.
Zeno is our final battle in a 1v1...yeah! The guy who's been our foil since SB. The guys who's been waiting for us for all or ShB as well as all of EWs base story. The guy who went so far as to become a reaper and even plan to become Zodiark himself to fight us. Yes he was our final boss.

Hold on, did I ever state that I liked Zenos at all? Secondly I like how you couldn't "debunk" anything I said before that and laser focused on one thing lol.

Ah I think you misunderstand the concept of Zenos... You assume Zenos is a mirror to "all the simps out there" in an affectionate way...
if you paid attention to the story.... there is a whole meaning behind the mirror that doesn't mirror your assumption on what Zenos was about...
Also, the person you quoted from, I have to disagree with them and agree with you on that point. But also, you are correct on other things.

The way we perceive NPC/characters is for each and everyone individual and different......
Still, "mirror" was nowhere meant affectionately, more so, it was meant for Zenos to be relatable to WoL in ways /you/ may differentiate.
I do not admire Some people's storyline where Zenos' words were meant to be a simper however if that is how they saw it as who am I to say anything about it! But there is no right or wrong way...how to take his words...

Yoshida had admitted a while ago also, they did not know where to go with Zenos. I believe they recognized this flaw
and I doubt they will make this mistake again....... Well, we will see if 7.0 learned from the mistakes.
