That "modern legend" on hrothgar has to be a joke. Who approved that? It looks so unfinished from behind.

I have a strong feeling that the Hrothgar were not intended to be a playable race but switched at the last moment. That would explain why hair and faces are locked together as they would with NPCs.
Been that way for a long while now. In my friend circle, we used to make a big deal about Live Letters and plan to hop on zero hour. None of us even bother with the LLs any more, partly because of how... dull Endwalker has felt but also due to how often they talk about seemingly nothing for so long. Belts anyone? Patch wise, a friend of mine still likes to zero hour odd patches for 24 man shenanigans and I want to jump on the gil machine for day one crafting but otherwise, I wouldn't really care. I'll do the EX for Savage prep but I'm not "excited" the way I used to be.Maybe it’s just me but I feel a significant lack of desire to rush out and do this patch like I used to. In the past, I would take off the day or two for patch days for almost every patch but now… I don’t know… maybe it’s just the lack of draw in for the current MSQ, I don’t know…
Do any of you feel like this?
This whole expansion has felt really meh for me.
Actually, it was Viera that were originally intended. Hrothgar were always planned in an effort to attract players who prefer beastial races. According to Yoshida, it was a very often made request from players coming in from other games. They pivoted to Viera because the fanbase wouldn't stop asking for them. Hence why we had the gender slip. It was their attempt to cater towards both sides. Which... didn't work out nearly to the extent they likely hoped.
As for the face design. The dev team admitted both Hrothgar and Viera use a different model entirely. It was supposedly to give Hrothgar better features or something to that effect. They didn't account for how difficult porting existing gear and hairstyles would actually be nor the demand from players for it.

"Stand in the ashes of a trillion dead souls and ask the ghosts if honor matters."
"The silence is your answer."
They're just not built to suit some human hairstyles. The devs didn't intend to make them compatible with standard hairstyles, and this sort of fitting issue is probably why – but if they skipped over it because they know it doesn't fit well, people would complain that they were dodging work and neglecting Hrothgar again.
So last PvP mount was recolour. New PvP mount is almost identical to a mount in game already. I would have to look but bed mount looks close to old bed. That is just stuff I noticed. Sure they have other reused assets I am missing.
They've been reusing existing models since 1.0. Why stop now?
When I first heard they were going to implement Fairy glamour, I thought maybe they would give us some new colour options for it. Like, wouldn't that be nice? Doesn't seem like it would be that hard.
But no. Fake Carbuncle. Why? Were people asking for this?
Add a Feo Ul glamour and I'll actually learn how to play scholar.
That's what I'll guess based off that. No real need to know the exact values right now, but if they're replacing the current color options with a wheel or some kind of slider, having the option to see the exact values and even copy them is useful.Correct, It's just showing the actual data values now instead of having to obscurely describe which row & column something is in.
More importantly, it might be indicative of Character Creation changes coming in 7.0, where we might have more control over the values, but that's just speculation.
Carbuncle? I never heard of that one...Feo Ul, hell yeah a lot.
