The worst Scion

The worst Scion for me was " Minfilia ". Players only cared for two features she had and with the Echo managed to be a worse secretary then Tataru, who also was more capable of managing the Scions finances. Even if I consider Oracle-Minfilia as a Scion, I still put Minfilia at the bottom.

" Y'shtola " has the worst personality. Exuding an mom attitude when she managed to get blind the 1st time getting stuck in the lifestream... only to still have an attitude after getting stuck a 2nd time (without negative consequences?). Never stood next to me in an Extreme or Savage Fight and Y'shtola still manages to give me lip. But even if she got stuck in the lifestream a 3rd time! ( which wouldn't surprise me ), I would rank her above Minfilia who remains at the bottom.

Everyone else improved with a mix of personality, character or their acts and deeds. Though of course, personal opinion.

I agree, the worst Scion is the Warrior of Light.

Your Warrior of Light though, not mine. Yes, I'm talking specifically to you. Your Warrior of Light sucks. My Warrior of Light is a cool girl.

The Warrior of Light is the worst character in this game. They can do no wrong. They can insult a clearly distraught introverted kid and the kid will somehow take it kindly. They have literally zero character development. They will get taken aback for the 300th time when someone tells them how much they mean to them.

Somehow this Scion will come up with all kinds of powers the moment the plot needs them to. But if the plot demands it, they will angrily stare at the villain, maybe take a step forward to show just how ANGRY they are, while the villain kidnaps an item or a person and ambulates off the horizon at three ilms an hour.

It's like this Scion is a self-insert for someone with zero self-esteem who needs to be praised by everyone every hour. But the game doesn't actually allow you to self-insert yourself into this Scion. You see, because the moment you want to disagree with Alphinaud on a decision or one of his many monologues, the game doesn't let you. You can't tell Alisaie to chill out before she gets into trouble. You can't criticize Thancred for how he treated Ryne. You can't express what you think of the Garleans or the Ala Mhigans unless another Scion explicitly asks you, and then you are given two non-offensive options. Playing the WoL doesn't feel like playing a self-insert character. It feels like playing a mute paragon with a specific personality and outlook the writers forced on you.

During this read my face went from stiff, to a gasp , i stood backward , then retook my dead face pose , then i nodded , my stiff face went from deadpan to grinning , i nodded a again , then shrugged and i creepily watched you walk off screen only moving my head , still managing to keep the rest of my body perfectly still.
