Request: Devs, can we have an alternative way to get the Disciple of the Land hats?

I know several groups running Hamlets all the time, and 90% of those runs a top 20 provisioner is present. Even adding up all of that I've only heard of two hats dropping...

Maybe we're doing something wrong in Hamlet? Am I not stacking enougj BLM?

At first I also thought that maybe there were particular conditions to get the hats, but in the end I realized it was just random like any other type of Militia equipment... except these hats are like 1% drop rate.


Anyway, yes, I always considered these hats like “AF”, although it was never officially stated. After all, they are the first unique armor for Disciples of the Land, and that very nice Botanist's artwork shown at E3, with the Hamlet Cutter's Hat as part of the armor set, confirmed me that it can be really considered like AF.
But for some reason, we got them as a random reward from a content that most of the adventurers dislike rather than make us obtain them in a good and satisfactory way...

It wouldn't make any sense if in 2.0 we'll be able to get the Gatherer's remaining armors in a proper way, with quest and difficult Achievements, but the hat piece remains a random thing in Hamlet Defense, so I hope they'll consider our requests of an alternative way to let us truly earn those hats.

Not to be the debbie downer, but the trend they're doing is obvious, keeping drop rates extremely low and keeping it all group based.

It's all busy work until 2.0, we still have like 3 months until 2.0 hits and the LONGER it takes someone to obtain something, the better.

Might as well keep everyone doing hamlets (relic AF, crafter gear, gathering gear, anima) so that there is an incentive for everyone to constantly have something to do.

It's intentional in it's design. If you could go off and do something solo then why in gods name would any crafter or gatherer bother with hamlet?
