Which artifact armours are your favourites for each job?

I was playing around in the benchmark again because I have alt-itis, and I realised that I really only run it with the level 80 PLD armour. It got me to wondering what everybody's favourite artifact (that is, capstone job quest - or level 89 vendor in EW's case) armour is for each job?

The best way to see them all out of game, afaik, is to go to https://ffxiv.eorzeacollection.com/gearsets and select the "Job Artifact Armor" filter!

For me:

Tanks:
PLD: ShB | WAR: EW | DRK: HW | GNB: ShB

Melee:
MNK: StB | DRG: StB | NIN: EW | SAM: StB

Ranged:
BRD: ShB | MCH: EW | DNC: EW

Caster:
BLM: EW | SMN: EW | RDM: EW

Healer:
WHM: StB | SCH: HW | AST: HW

I left out RPR and SGE for obvious reasons Also I am simply too lazy to go through all the crafters and gatherers. Anyway, this is just for fun! Something a bit light-hearted.

Anything and everything astro and dancer :3 the rest is eh to me..

Oh and was just reminded of level 60 smn definitely one of my favourites and on par with astro and dnc!

It comes and goes, but Dragoon is the most consistently good. Then maybe Paladin. Honestly, through most artifact sets past the 3rd or 4th set starts becoming watered-down.

I haven't finished levelling all jobs yet so I am going to go based on the ones I remember. I am excluding some classes as I don't have a strong opinion on them.

PLD: EW WAR: EW GNB: ShB
MNK: StB NIN: ARR
BRD: EW (Wearing this now) DNC: ShB
SMN: HW RDM: StB
WHM: ShB

Personally:

WHM: The ARR Cleric Set, the other sets never quite hit the mark for me, either being a bit generic or a bit too frilly.
SCH: I'm torn between the classic ARR look and the much more modern but still identifiable Shadowbringers set.
AST: Constellation, no questions asked. It's an awesome looking set. Perhaps one of my favourite healer sets of all time, right up there alongside the SCOB High Allagan Healer set.

MNK: ARR: my first dyable gear, especailly because i like fighting games and it looks too much like something Chin Li would use.
MNK: SB: The whole set that made me farm Eureka and my first SB relic
MNK: ShB: This one is my fave, especially the top, that and it was the first time i stepped outside of my confort zone and did Memoria Misera EX on patch just to get it.

I guess out of the classes I have leveled or am actively leveling-

DRK: Really not a fan of whole armored look for my char, but if I had to choose then either HW or ShB.
GNB: EW, no contest.
WHM: ARR. I find the robes from the other expansions way too fussy though I have found use for the sleeves and boots from a couple of them. And I consider the StB cane my char's "canon" whm wep, if you will.
SCH: EW by virtue of the rest all being pretty terrible, tbh, outside of the hat on the HW one.
AST: finally a job where they're all really good. I'll give the edge to the HW set though for that hat.
SGE: do not care whatsoever for this look. Maybe another set in the future...
DRG: again, I'm not really into full armor sets. HW and ShB are okay-ish though.
RPR: oh gods, like...I like it? But not for my char.
BRD: this is definitely the hardest. I used the ARR set for quite awhile, but the StB and EW sets are also fantastic. I guess the only one I don't really care for is ShB's?
MCH: HW.
DNC: EW, but the ShB set is also lovely.
BLM: I love StB's for the classic black mage colors, but ShB and EW's capture the witchy look so perfectly.
SMN: HW, without a doubt. EW's is also not bad. ShB's is downright terrible though.
RDM: Nothing beats the StB one, but I love the shorts+tights of the EW set.
