Very much needed tbh.
Very much needed tbh.
Apart from just agreeing plainly with every single point in this thread, the biggest thing for me is that it excludes my social circles, I have to pick and choose which friends to fit into this 64 character limit. I would love it to be a higher amount.
I’d really like to see this too. The FC member listing shows when someone was last on, shouldn’t be impossible to do for Linkshells.Speaking of more people wanting a CWLS invite than I have spaces in my CWLS, it would be great if they could add some sort of way for me to see when people are inactive or haven't played since the last maintenance or something. I likely have people in my hunt CWLS that haven't played since before 6.1, but I have no way of knowing without kicking them, which could mean I accidentally kick someone who was active mere minutes ago.
Agreeing to all the points above. 64 slots are just insufficient for a long time.
People outsorced sharing of information to discord and websites because CWLS are just not working with that limited space and the game doesnt offer anything else. This means people without second monitor and console players are being excluded from the communities and getting the shared information.
With larger CWLS 256/512 slots (but even 128 would help a lot) and preferably also larger LS and maybe also more than max. 8 LS slots per player we may be able to reach all players in-game again (or at least have enough space for those who need information in-game) and not exclude any.
But also better managing tools are needed like it was already mentioned. For LS there is the workaround to see if the jobs are being displayed in the search info but theres no way to see it in cwls. But even if we get 1k slots, cleaning them to make space for active players is needed.
If its not possible to give a way so see the activity of people ingame, maybe managing tools in the lodestone are possible where you can see the members of your LS/CWLS.
When its being worked on maybe adding auto-rules like "kick after X weeks of not logging in" that can be activated by the owner is possible?
100% should be increased. True and real.
"You haven't proven that it is safe, you've (only) proved that you can't figure out how it's dangerous."
Can only agree aswell bigger CWLS would help out so many community's in this game so this needs to happen!![]()
I be willing for them to just reallocate the regular Linkshells into Cross World Linkshells. Obviously this might impact some people but other than personal linkshells, I can't imagine to many people use regular Linkshells anymore these days. Sign me up for expanding CWLS. They feel dead atm because the space needed for them is to few to do anything with.
Would only allow these high numbers if you can moderate channels above 128 people, so you eg. only a few can type stuff in them, for an information channel like eg. hunts.
Else it would be a mess... more is not always better, there is alot of factors you need to look into.
Agree, the current limit is far too insufficient. And with the addition of DC travel, those visiting other DCs also want access to their cwls, but more often than not there is no space for them. For Hunt cwls, some of them eventually become inactive, as those relaying Hunt info stop playing over time. So the rest of the people there, who rely of that information, are left without in-game options. A massive cwls would have less risk of inactivity.
I don't normally say these things ever, but make sure you upvote the OP's post if you agree. If there is one thing I'm certain of with these forums, it's that feedback by the moderation team is chosen through upvotes, so make sure you upvote things you agree with.
