    It's been so long now. It genuinely makes me sad that such a simple request can't be accommodated or at least explained.

    The 64-slot limit for cross-world linkshells seems arbitrary when normal linkshells have far more.
    It's very difficult to manage large communities when cross-world linkshells - our only viable option - have extremely limited space. It's incredibly frustrating as it could so easily be improved.

    The Hunt community thrives on communication via CWLS.
    Having so few slots is a huge barrier to this across all regions, even in less densely populated areas.

    The 10-year anniversary had a huge focus on the game's growth, yet there's been no attempt to accommodate this in CWLS.
    One of the best things about FFXIV is its ability to foster communities and it seems the developers appreciate this when it's mentioned elsewhere, but in practice it's barely functional.

    The system is so limited that CWLS are essentially no longer fit for purpose.
    Players who enjoy Hunt content are probably those who spend most time subscribed continuously between expansions/patches. These are your core players who log in every day, and we're still requesting either more CWLS slots, or some feedback as to why this isn't possible. It's very important to a large subset of your long-term subscribers.

    This has a massive impact on players' ability to enjoy organised communities. Please increase CWLS slots

    A sizable bump in slots for both local linkshells and for crossworld linkshells is long overdue. Having to rely on methods such as Discord or websites to pass along information is painful.

    As far as moderation goes, being able to more easily see how many days since a player last logged in would be incredibly helpful for cleaning up inactive users to free more slots.

    Increasing the number of CWLS slots will be a HUGE help for all the various communities in this game. I know people who have reached max capacity on the number of CWLSes they're in very much because of the limited amount of slots available in them. This leaves a major risk for mishaps and miscommunications to occur, and the biggest way to rectify this issue is to increase the number of slots!! Let us play with our cross-world friends without this hurdle! \o/

    I also don't understand why servers are added to DC's without increasing the CWLS capacity. This makes it even harder to communicate in the community. Please SE do something! ♥

    Beyond what everyone else said, limited cwls space means hunt relays are not particularly reliable at off peak hours late into an expansion. It doesn't take a full network theory analysis to figure out that a relay chain with multiple single points of failure is unlikely to be consistent or fast. There's simply no way to maintain good timezone coverage reliably, and many spawners/conductors are already near or at cwls capacity. And when it comes to meaningfully reducing player frustration and salt, no amount of balance changes or graphics updates can compare with faster relays, which is kinda hilarious ngl.

    The limits to CWLS and why they are smaller is likely because of the processing cost of CLWS are higher, possibly much higher than a normal LS. Since a normal LS can stay in-server, communication is likely much more efficient involving fewer machines, CPU cycles and networking costs. Ultimately, they will likely need to find money somewhere else to justify increasing the CWLS capacity.

    All linkshells (local and CWL) need significant capacity increases. The playerbase keeps growing and these in-game social features have been stagnant for years.
    Linkshells and Cross-world Linksells both also desperately need some QoL features to help with maintaining those linkshells. Namely a "last online" feature. It already exists in the game! It's in the FC Member list, for exactly the same purpose—maintaining the activity of the social space. It just needs to be made available in more spaces than the Free Company Member list.
