upgraded to a 4090 now I get dx 11000002

the game was working fine with my 3090 but since I installed my 4090 today I have been getting dx 11000002 errors, I'm about to uninstall ffxiv and then reinstall it to see if that does anything. I am considering reinstalling windows.... hmm anywho I hope someone in the dev dept. sees this memo, and maybe looks into this issue

First step I would recommend is changing to borderless window mode. There's a way to do this in the config file, if you're unable to get into game settings directly.

I know a lot of people have also found a remedy in running the game under DirectX 9 instead.

I'd try these two things before attempting any reinstalls.
