NA server issues over the last week is becoming unacceptable

I know this week every time I logout of FFXIV I get a black screen and when go into task manager to close it say FFXIV has stopped responding. Then I have to shut down my pc and start it back up to close FFXIV.

Happening to me as well! I've noted the comment below as I do typically play full screen and maybe why task manager close has not been an option. I've had to Alt Ctrl Del to access the power option to restart my system for access to my desktop. I've submitted a ticket, experience tells me I won't hear back. I've also been hit by the no sound bug. I use a gamepad. If I log with the gamepad connected no sound. If I log with the gamepad disconnected I have sound but, as soon as I reconnect the gamepad I loose sound. I cannot recover sound by disconnecting the gamepad, have to reboot. Windows sound settings working fine on all other apps. What a mess.
