Its weird, I see no issues outside of maybe PvP: Frontlines.
Wonder what the issue is.....

I use Verizon so can say haven't seen a single issue outside of random lag at the beginning of Frontline which is common for me. Ironically enough I was having weird lag in FF11 though yesterday, wonder if it's related.I believe it's SE. SE is pointing at AT&T but as consumers we dont know who is in the wrong. I can play any other game except FFXIV and have no lag whatsoever. I have Verizon for my cellular provider so I may just end up having to use hotspot off my phone to play the patch tomorrow.
It's not SE, it's NTT (Nippon Telegraph and Telephone). If you use a VPN you don't encounter the lag at all, which means it has to be some of the connections on NTT's end.I believe it's SE. see it has to be part of NAS's shitty infrastructure, i have comcast in the SW and literallynothing out of ordinary, but most signs of problems are coming from out east with ATTI believe it's SE. From what I’ve seen elsewhere, it has to be something in between people on the East US and the SE servers on the West side. Most people with the issue are on AT&T, but like I said, I’ve got Comcast and I’m seeing the same performance issues.

Most people converge into similar backbone links at some point. Most ISPs only control local cabling to their coverage areas, and not the main trunks leading all over the country, of which there are only a few.

used to use the xfinity service but now use ths spectrum service so far no problems.
if youre routed through a sectioon where att is the one more or less in controll of your node and thus the data you send out itll still affect you. Trash nation im afraid.
VPNS are helping ppl from what i hear
ATT user here, its fine in the mornings. gets worse as the afternoon progresses and more people hop on. I might just have to get a VPN to play patch.

Sad to say I was on PIA VPN the last couple of days and while it wasn't anywhere near as bad as without one, I'm still seeing periodic rubber-banding using it.
