A vegan playthrough of FF14 is essentially impossible

I know that this is going to be a pretty fringe request but I would love for a vegan game mode so that one can play through FF14 as a vegan without killing any animal.

This is essentially impossible from the get go because even on healer classes, the very first conjurer class quest makes you kill ladybugs and squirrels...



I think the only solution that I have found that works for me is to buy a jump potion on a healer class to skip the parts of MSQ that forces me to kill animals. And in dungeons I will deliberately never attack any animal enemy.

What I wish for the developers to do is to change the enemy type on early healer role quests from animals like squirrels or ladybugs to Garlean soldiers or some other type of enemy like that. This would help vegan players be able to play through the story without going against their conscience. Even if it's a virtual space, knowing that I have not killed any animal is peace of mind.

You seem to be misunderstanding something here, you're just supposed to not eat the animal. Nobody said anything about not murdering them, just look at PETA.
