    Bard used to have procs more intertwined with the dot system, in shadowrbringers for example -

    Personally I would like to see bard head back in that direction because losing the connection between the dots and procs has made endwalker bard significantly less fun to me.

    I agree for sure, I think all ShB bard really just needed was a spreader. The EW DoTs just feel like empty dps, let’s hope they change it

    My main problem with barrage not proccing shadowbite is that unlike in the previous iterations of Bard where barrage didn't proc RA automatically either, you still had a substitute with Empyreal Arrow and whatnot. I liked the rng of this even though I can also feel it was frustrating when not just getting your proc (especially with so low proc rates), but the current issue with Shadowbite not being automatically proced from Barrage is that the Barrage buff gets completely wasted because there is NO AoE substitute as far as I know. It doesn't proc on Ladon/QuickNock, which means you have to actually wait to get a proc, and if you don't, then you just sit on your barrage because you can't use it. It makes it go completely go out of buffs very fast and that's just... not a great design.

    The main problem I could see happening especially in full parties in raids under heavy raid buffs, is that currently it almost procs TOO much. Not the procs in themselves, they're fine, but you have a lot of bursts with DNC during Technical and Devilment where half your burst is just spamming Sabre Dance not to overcap the gauge. I generally don't have a problem with the proc rate under burst because most of the time I can barely spend them all already, and when I can, it just feels fine. It's extremely rare that I'm out of procs before the end of the burst...

    I think they also somewhat made it more bearable with the basic combo you get that nets you a 100% rate on the second step of it, which really is already something else than just spamming 1 all the time like bard under Army's with not much else to do besides the occasional Empyrean Arrow...

    I mean, just bring back ammo MCH yoshi, I beg of you. Why you gave it to RDM I have no idea, and why you removed it from MCH, I have even less a clue.

    Yeah I can see your point, I’ve definitely had that happen to me a few times. It’s really strange honestly most of the kit talks about giving us more esprit, but only in your standard combo finishers it talks about feather procs. When you burst you get a bunch of feathers out of nowhere and then when you finish it’s back to no-feather dry gameplay. I think that’s what most of us want addressed.

    As for old MCH I can’t really speak on that, I started in SB and when I picked up MCH they changed it like 1 month later

    Yes feathers are a more valuable resource in rarity (not potency) than esprit. I don't mind it that much because it allows some skill play at spooling them a bit for bursts (getting into the 2min bursts with 2 or 3 feathers feels good actually, and turns the burst into random 'play piano' which is literally what made me main rPhys in HW/SB). But I wouldn't be against specific additional gains like Fan Dance 3 on a trait that upgrades standard step to grant a Threefold proc when you get all the steps correctly. Or Fan Dance 4 with some RNG from Fan Dance 3, which would add a bit more feather proc and ogcd play during downtime.
