    The effect might not be that noticeable, but unless the tooltip is lying, it's there. I don't see how adding an AoE battery ability is any better than just making Wildfire an AoE, like they've already done. As for having an "interesting and fun" AoE skillset, MCH probably isn't the best example considering all the prerequisites Flamethrower and Bioblaster have before they're a damage gain.

    I stand corrected huh, that's a change from the recent patch right? The irony is that I'm a pretty active crystal player in pvp that actually mains mch, so shame on me... But it's also possible I haven't played pvp since that patch... Or i just didn't notice how inconsequential this was, although I'll still take it for sure.

    Unrelated to the Ranged Tax, I feel like Red Mage is taxed way too hard in terms of it's damage due to having Verraise and Vercure.


    I wouldn't mind Vercure having a cooldown like Curing Waltz and Verraise being yoinked completely in exchange for some real damage buffs.

    No it should not. That argument is nonsensical. As long as this tax will exist the only reason we'll be taken in parties is for the 1% party bonus in the current ShB/EW meta.

    Add a special mechanic or something to rphys if it makes all of you shut up for good about it, I don't care. But it is an abomination.

    IDK why Flamethrower hasn't been changed yet. Wildfire being an AoE like in PvP would be nice (possibly 25% falloff damage like Standard Step) and Iron Jaws would be less awkward to use as an oGCD.

    Although Bioblaster is much more niche than Drill, it would just turn into another Shadow Fang if it had its own cooldown. If it at least interacted with Flamethrower in some way, that would benefit both skills.

    For DNC, my hope is for them to add some way to give me procs more frequently or give use more procs like for Fan Dance IV and Starfall Dance. (ノ´ヮ´)ノ*:・゚✧
    When you get little-to-no procs, DNCs gameplay can be a little dull.

    Having another dance to do when you don't have to refresh Standard Step could be cool. Either a big damage dance like Mincing Minuet, a debuffing dance, or maybe a dance that increases the likelihood of getting procs might work.

    I’m not too sure about Starfall Dance as that’s your burst tool. Maybe they could add a system that upon using a certain number of Fan Dance III(maybe 2 to 4?), you could then use Fan Dance IV.

    I could definitely get behind increasing the proc rates. They could make it an additional 10% while under Standard Step and increase it to 15% while under Technical Step

    What about a dance that gives you a feather for doing all the steps?
    It could be a two step like Standard Step, doing one step does damage while doing two does a little more damage and grants a feather. Give it a 30 second cooldown, have it go on cooldown when you use Standard Step, and make it so you can't use it outside of battle (so the party doesn't have to wait for the DNC to spam it to get all their feathers). It could even be called Feather Step, which is a type of foxtrot dance step and has been in a past Final Fantasy game. (*´∀`*)

    If its main purpose is to give a feather, then I could honestly see it being a one-step dance. I think that’d be nice during downtime for sure, and changing your partner on the fly would definitely be a nice QoL
